Enterprise joy ride

Doug Drexler has posted a wonderful YouTube video on on his facebook page: a fan film about the original 1701 taking one last joyride before undergoing the refit.

The film by Pony R. Horton begins on the Moon to the strains of Michael Nesmith’s song Eldorado the Moon, and ends with the Enterprise leaving spacedock. There are countless in-jokes (look for the Gunstar in the shadows) and other references for baby boomers, SF geeks and Trekkies. You can’t miss the Major Award, either.
