It’s new to me: The Adventures of Lil’ Cthulhu

I never thought I would say that H.P. Lovecraft’s Cthulhu could be turned into a children’s video and that it would be cute. But it is. And if you’re unfamiliar with all things Lovecraftian, visit The H.P. Lovecraft Archive or the Wikipedia article. He was also mentioned in a recent episode of Supernatural, information about which can be found at The Lovecraftsman.

I know this video has been around a long time, but I only just encountered it. The story and animation are credited to Zachary Murray and narration by Erika Fontana. There are even Lil’ Cthulhu T-shirts and what not available at CafePress.

Tintin in the land of LovecraftAlso while trying to find more information about the creator of Lil’ Cthulhu, I stumbled across Murray “Muz” Groat’s charming covers of Tintin’s adventures in the land of Lovecraft. Groat is really talented, but I don’t know how he goes to sleep at night with all that prowling around in his brain.
